1. Scheduling / Attendance Policy

• Lessons begin promptly at the scheduled time. Arriving late may result in lost time and will not be extended.

• Please arrive at least 5 minutes early with your child ready to swim. Late arrivals may result in shortened sessions.

2. Cancellations / Makeup Policy

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance via phone, text, or email to qualify for a makeup session.

• No-shows and same-day cancellations will forfeit the lesson without a refund or credit.

• Makeup lessons are subject to availability and must be scheduled within 30 days of the original missed lesson.

• Mina’s swim school reserves the right to cancel/reschedule due to weather, pool maintenance, or instructor emergencies — in which case a makeup or credit will be offered.

3. Payments / Refunds

• Only for the first lesson, cash payment is accepted.

• Full payment is required before the start of the first lesson in a Lesson Bundle.

• Payments are non-refundable, except in cases of long-term medical issues with a doctor’s note.

4. Swim Attire / Health Requirements

• Swimmers must wear proper swim attire (no regular clothes, diapers, or cotton fabrics).

• Children not toilet trained must wear swim diapers under a snug-fitting swimsuit.

• Students with any of the following may not participate in lessons: open wounds, skin infections, diarrhea in the past 48 hours, fever, or other contagious conditions.

6. Media Release 

Photos and videos may be taken during swim lessons for use in Mina Swim School’s social media, website, or promotional materials. If you do not want you or your child to be photographed or recorded, please inform your instructor or contact us directly before the start of your session.

7. Liability Waiver

By enrolling in swim lessons with Mina’s Swim School, the participant and/or their parent or legal guardian understands and acknowledges that swimming is a hazardous activity. Participation involves inherent risks, including but not limited to serious injury, illness, paralysis, or even death. The participant agrees to voluntarily assume all such risks associated with swim instruction and related activities.

The undersigned hereby agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Mina’s Swim School, its owners, instructors, employees, affiliated entities, the facility at which lessons are held, and all successors, directors, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, or liabilities arising from participation in swim lessons or attendance at any swim school event. This includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, illness (including COVID-19), property loss, or damages, whether arising from negligence or otherwise.
